Summer Garden Lighting: Outdoor Fairy Lights
Written by: Ben Naughton
It’s not raining! Now that the Great British Summer has finally graced us with its presence, it’s time to pop your shorts on and head outside because, blind optimism aside, we all suspect that in two weeks the forecast will have once again taken on a decidedly damper tone. In the meantime however, might as well be making the most of your outside space by blinging up your patio, garden or decking with a string or two of fairy lights.
This week we’re looking at outdoor fairy lights – not just for Christmas, traditional-style string lights are a year-round garden lighting solution, transforming boring old branches into sparkling forests that look like something straight out of a fairytale and will certainly get the neighbours talking (about how jealous they are).
When it comes to tree lights, you might as well go big or go home because super sparkly LEDs in a rainbow of colours just weren’t designed for subtlety. You want your tree to be the best dressed tree on the whole street, and the only way to do that is to really amp up the bulbage (technical term) and drape your garden with the brightest, best quality fairy lights in the land. We can help you with that. To get started, visit our string lights section and pick out your favourite colour or three. If bright green isn’t your vibe and you really were looking for something a bit more understated, we’ve got you – head on over to our warm white outdoor lights page and you’ll find everything you need to create a traditional, golden glow in your garden.
Whilst you’re here, have a look at this very Pinteresting array of photos we’ve pulled together to demonstrate how magical outdoor tree lights can look in summer.
